Voice Mail Alerting

The system can be set up to notify you when a new voice mail is received in your personal mailbox. If you decide to activate this function, there are two options for you to select, i.e. "Voice" and "Warning". If "Voice" is selected, you will hear a voice notification when you pick up the handset. If "Warning" is selected, you will hear a "Boop" tone when you pick up the handset.
Users can also be notified when a new voice mail is left for them via phone call. According to preferences, the system can send a message notification to an extension number, phone number, mobile phone number, and a pager number. If the first destination number is unable to be reached, the system will then find the next destination number to send the notification. In the event that all destination numbers are not reached, the system may, according to the sending interval and retrying times defined in the system, conduct a second round of message notification until one of the destination numbers is reached.
