Department/Extension Route Menu

The Department/Extension Route Menu is applied to direct callers to find the extension/pilot number that represents a certain department or individual extension user. This is where you define a brief code to represent a certain department.
If you enable "Department Route Menu" by setting up a digit in the "First Digit Assignment", you should pre-record a greeting to guide the caller to dial the necessary digit to be transferred to a specific department. The corresponding voice message number is 0929 for the primary language and 1929 for the secondary language.
If you enter a pilot number here, the incoming call will ring the extension according to the ring way you assigned for that pilot number. If all the members of the pilot number are busy or do not answer the call, the caller will be given the choice to dial another extension or leave a voice message in the department's voice mailbox.
